Friday, Sept 10. After a 5 hour train ride, and leaving my cold somewhere on the way, I arrived in Sevilla. I stayed at the Hotel Puerta de Sevilla, the room was on the smaller side, but being a corner room and having french doors on two walls, it was just perfect!

I was starving! and maybe my hunger made me say one thing while I thought of another..or at least that must be the explanation, because I asked the waiter for agua and I got cerveza/beer ?!?!? oh, well, the beer and the gazpacho were both very good!

Saturday, Sept 11. Time to explore Sevilla, I started off in the El Arenal area. This is Hospital de la Caridad, where a wedding was about to take place...

I watched all the guests arrive, women with great hats and all decked out...the bride was very classy and somewhat more understated than some of the guests

Despite the hot weather, I walked around Sevilla a lot! Through all the little streets, many without visible names, I made my way the Sevilla Cathedral and La Giralda, the bell tower.
